Google Panda Update July 2012 Update: “Low Quality Sites” Affected
“New data refresh of Panda starts rolling out tonight. ~1% of search results change enough to notice. More context: goo.gl/huekf".
Google panda is the algorithm of Ranking a website and Google’s search results ranking algorithm, first release was in February 2011. This Google panda update affected the millions of ‘low quality sites’ which goes down in search results while ‘High quality sites’ rank high in top search results.
The official site of Google has also posted a reference link along with the panda confirmation. The reference link of webmaster central blog post indicates that this time Google reward “High quality websites” so that they post this link to tell webmasters whether their sites meets the criteria or not.

One more Entry in the blogging tips . i,e.How to Host Your Blogger Scripts and Files on Google Code. Blogger tweaks or even adding a new widget to blogger template constantly require the use of JavaScript and CSS for customization. Hosting a JavaScript and CSS proven to be better practices than installing it directly to the HTML. This way, the load time will be more faster and more cleaner HTML template.
One of the free option to host a files is by using Google Code. Google Code runs a Project Hosting service that provides revision control offering Subversion, Mercurial and Git, an issue tracker, a wiki for documentation, and a file download feature [Wiki]. This means, with the 200MB file limit, you can upload any file - JavaScript, Image, Video, CSS, Documents etc with no restriction.
Before we go further, you must know that Google Code Project Hosting is a shared hosting rather than regular web hosting services. So all projects hosted on Google Code are Open Source, and are available for anyone to view or download.
Various licenses are used for the files served by Project Hosting including GNU General Public License (GPL), MIT License etc.

Chrome Users Get Desktop Notifications For Gmail
Earlier during the day, we talked about Notification Meaning and Definition.so that you the Gmail browser tab can tell you if there’s a new email in your inbox, and you don’t need to look into your inbox frequently to check the unread mail status. Gmail has come up with a similar offering, albeit this time the treat is only available to people using Google Chrome.
As the title of the post suggests, Chrome users can now get desktop notifications for Gmail. The notification works for new emails and chat messages.
These desktop notifications are HTML5 based and show a pop-up instantly when a new email or chat message arrives.
Of course, there are some customization options. You could choose to have both email and chat notifications turned on, or just one of them. There’s also an option to only turn on important mail notifications i.e the emails that arrive in your Priority inbox, which is really cool in my opinion.
I think this feature rocks for 2 reasons:
1. As I mentioned above, you could choose to enable it only for Priority Inbox emails. This is useful if you get a lot of emails.
2. You won’t miss the chat messages anymore. If you tend to just stay signed on in chat in Gmail (and don’t use Google Talk), then there’s a possibility that you will miss an important chat that pops up in the Gmail window while you are working in some other browser tab. The chat notification will at least tell you if the chat is worth your attention.
You will find Desktop Notifications option under Settings in your Gmail. It can be easily enabled from there. Hope that helps.
